The Marlin Master VII is a most economical option. This 24 foot Scout Abaco Express, with twin 225 Yamaha 4 stroke outboard, provides a nice, sporty craft to satisfy your fishing needs. In addition to marlin charters, you can also get charters for offshore trolling, flyfishing and near shore light tackle. Our captains are fully fluent in English and are certified by the Mexican government. They come highly experienced and recommended and are ready to lend their many years of expertise to the service of novices and pros alike.
To make your trip more successful, the Marlin Master VII boasts the latest and greatest in high-tech electronic equipment including GPS navigator, sonar and VHF radio. You will also have available at your disposal professional, tournament quality fishing gear such as sport rods equipped with Shimano Tiagra LRS 2-speed reels and a live bait tank. A clean, comfortable restroom is available in the cabin.
Because of its unique situation off the coast of Mexico, Cabo San Lucas is considered the Marlin Capital of the World. Its long stretch of water – over 800 miles long, in fact – known as the Sea of Cortez produces just the right conditions to attract and contain the favorite foods of various types of sport-fishes, including the elite marlin. Because of the diverse ocean currents emanating off the coasts of California and Mexico and their proper combination of cool and warm waters this region draws the greatest abundance of these magnificent creatures. The special nature of the sea floor and its distinctive depths in this region also favors the proliferation of these most prestigious of sport-hunting fishes.
